Spring Supplier Forum hailed a success
Sellafield Ltd’s latest Supplier Forum has been hailed as the best yet – with 500 people from a range of supply chain companies in attendance.
The theme of the day was ‘Sellafield Ltd and our suppliers: preparing for the challenges ahead.’
The event was opened by supply chain ombudsman Zoe Whittle, before Commercial and Contract Management Director Keith Case delivered a keynote speech to a packed exhibition hall at the Sellafield Centre.
Delegates were then able to choose which breakout sessions they wanted to attend over the rest of the day, and with sessions on a wide range of topics including commercial opportunities, supply chain quality and building strategic partnerships there was something for everybody.
Keith’s team were represented in the Commercial Corner area, meaning delegates also had the opportunity to meet and talk to Sellafield Ltd’s commercial specialists about a range of topics, as well as to network with each other.
Zoe said: “We’ve had lots of really positive feedback – we had made a few changes to the forum, based on feedback we have received previously, and that was appreciated by the delegates.
“There was a real sense of dynamism and energy throughout the day and the presenters did a great job. Logistically it can be difficult organise such a large event and I’d like to thank the staff at the Sellafield Centre and my assistant, Leanne Ditchburn, for all their help.”
